ABOUT

Electricity has always been explained to me using water or streams as an analogy.
Voltage [potential/water pressure], Current [Rate of flow] and Resistance [width of the pipe] are indispensable to the other and they are always interrelated.
Through a lamp wired through pipes I try to make the theorie of electric circles more understandable. While the lamp itself is almoust complety covered a color code and certain elements are focusing on and explaining the side outcomes of electricity.
Energy cannot be lost and is only transformed. The two side outcomes that my lamp focuses on are the sound of a trafo and the heat generated by the light itself through a covering cupper plate.

01 – energy can neither be created or lost
only tranformed – sideoutcome: heat and sound

02 – heated up cupper plate

03 - trafo sound coming out of a round box around it
03 – on / off  switch
